Free Webinar: Cultivating Empathy-Heart, Head and Action on March 29th at 2 PM EST

Posted about 3 years ago by Lola Nation

This FREE webinar is presented by Joy Berger, an industry leading expert speaker. For more info on Joy visit joy@composinglife.com

This webinar will:

Apply Goleman's three types of empathy to recent encounters in your own life: cognitive, emotional, and empathic concern.

Describe the similar "heart, head, and action" components of both empathy and Emotional Intelligence.

Choose and discuss at least one challenging situation in your workplace where you will intentionally cultivate your empathy for others involved: cognitive, emotional, and empathic concern.

"In our busy workdays, a 2-minute encounter might be the only interaction we have with a patient, caregiver, or colleague. The empathic qualities of this encounter can make or break its outcomes. To "cultivate" means to prepare the soil for seeds, to make land suitable for crops, to nurture and grow.

Join me--and invite others--for this free webinar on March 29, 2pm ET as we dig into what empathy is and is not. We will examine active ways to grow our capacities and skills to give empathic care." Sponsored for all hospice professionals, by Net Health.
