YOU ARE INVITED!
And you won’t want to miss
Courageous and Compassionate Care in Crisis
January 21, 2021 6:00pm – 7:30pm 1.5 CEUs included
A LIVE, virtual presentation by:
Aimee Copeland, Holistic Psychotherapist, LCSW, MA
Fatigued by COVID?
Ready to put 2020 behind you?
Let’s begin 2021 by showing care for ourselves!

Do you remember Aimee? After a zip-lining accident in 2012, Aimee was hospitalized and diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis – a flesh-eating, bacterial infection. While the doctors worked hard to save her life, they had to amputate both of her hands, her right foot and her entire left leg. She was 24 years old and grateful to have survived – but the road to recovery that lay ahead was overwhelming to say the least. Aimee will share her story and provide us with a unique view of hospital experiences from a patient’s perspective, ways to combat compassion fatigue and implement strategies to prevent burnout. Aimee is a holistic psychotherapist, activist, certified yoga instructor, competitive swimmer, and Executive Director of the Aimee Copeland Foundation. She is also owner/operator of Grant Park Counseling Group in Atlanta, GA. She holds dual Masters degrees in Psychology and Social Work and practices therapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Aimee is a sought-after inspirational speaker who shares her story with passion, truth and humility. She is a joy to listen to: funny and self-deprecating. If you are in need of some inspiration after a rough year of challenges, this is a great way to start the new year. Join us! Aimee is an extraordinary, moving speaker.

The attached flyer is updated to reflect the total cost of $20 (includes $5 processing fee). Please share the flyer with your coworkers!
